Prepare and review complex tax returns, including multi‑state filings, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Conduct tax research and provide planning strategies to optimize savings and mitigate risks.

What to Expect Tax Compliance & Planning
Prepare and review individual, corporate partnership, and fiduciary tax returns, including multi‑state filings. Conduct tax research to resolve complex technical issues and provide well‑documented recommendations.
Assist with tax planning strategies, including identifying saving opportunities, mitigating risks, and supporting entity structuring.
Review and respond to IRS and state tax notices, audits, and correspondence.
Client Service & Relationship Management
Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Maintain strong client relationships through timely communication and proactive service.
Collaborate with colleagues across advisory, accounting, and wealth management to deliver integrated financial solutions.
Staff Leadership & Development
Supervise, mentor, and train staff accountants and tax preparers.
Conduct reviews of staff work to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to firm standards.
Provide feedback and coaching to support continuous growth and development.
Lead by example to foster professionalism and teamwork.
Other Duties
Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (required).
Master’s degree in taxation or an MBA, preferred.
CPA license, required or in progress.
4‑6+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, required.
Experience preparing and reviewing complex returns across various entity types.
Proficiency with tax software such as CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or UltraTax.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax law.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to oversee and mentor staff, and serve as an escalation point for client questions while balancing multiple client priorities.

Total Rewards
Base salary $65,000 – $86,575 per annum.
Variable compensation potential (bonus and/or commissions).
