Role Overview The Accreditation Senior Manager, reporting to the Accreditation Director, will manage the On Location Accreditation process for all On Location Workforce for the FIFA World Cup 2026™. This management role demands close coordination with Workforce Operations to ensure seamless access to venues and hospitality spaces across the three Host Countries and 16 Host Cities. The role also includes developing and implementing the event‑time Accreditation resolution function, producing internal Accreditation training content, establishing clear procedures, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement to deliver best‑in‑class Accreditation services for the On Location stakeholders.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Build in collaboration with OL Workforce and according to FIFA guidelines, the Tournament Accreditation matrix for OL staff, successfully collating roles and access requirements of all OL employees, fixed‑term employees and temporary tournament staff.
Coordinate with the Workforce Operations (WFO) Team the successful collection of OL employees, fixed‑term employees and tournament staff data, and its submission onto FIFA’s accreditation system in due time.
Manage OL’s account on the FIFA Accreditation platform, ensuring thorough data management and reporting to OL stakeholders.
Oversee Workforce communications, providing clear guidelines for data submission, offering ongoing support for applications, and delivering detailed instructions for Accreditation collection processes.
Develop and implement the Accreditation issue resolution system, overseeing the end‑to‑end implementation process, technology integration, and staffing, to ensure swift and effective resolution of inquiries and minimal disruption.
Produce Accreditation training contents for OL stakeholders in collaboration with Workforce Operations Team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong background in large‑scale event operations, demonstrating an ability to navigate complex logistics and high‑pressure environments.
Hands‑on experience in Accreditation operations, specifically delivering high‑volume access requirements for major events.
Proven track record of implementing or scaling support operations (call center, helpdesk, customer service hub, or similar).
Prior involvement in major sporting events is highly beneficial, with a preference for experience working with large, international teams.
Familiarity with FIFA’s operations and working within one of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Host Countries or Cities is highly advantageous.
Skills & Abilities
Exceptional project management skills, with a strong focus on organization, problem‑solving, and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing circumstances.

Extensive experience working with Event Management, Candidate Management Systems, and Accreditation tools, ensuring seamless processes and data integrity.
Proficient in analyzing data related to access requirements, with a focus on accuracy and trends.
Self‑motivated with the ability to work autonomously in remote settings, maintaining high standards of performance and accountability.
A collaborative team player with a flexible, positive attitude, eager to contribute to a successful event execution.
Travel Requirements
Must be flexible with work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Domestic travel will be required, with an estimated travel range of 10–15% annually.
Compensation Hiring Rate Minimum: $86,250 annually
Hiring Rate Maximum: $115,000 annually
