Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their progressive, full‑service small animal practice in Richmond, Virginia. This well‑established, multi‑doctor clinic offers a wide range of services and is known for its commitment to mentorship, high‑quality medicine, and a supportive, inclusive team culture. Working Hours / Rota

This is a full‑time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Doctor hours are scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Weekend coverage is limited to Saturday mornings. Role Description And Responsibilities

This role is open to experienced veterinarians. Clinical responsibilities include preventative care, diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, geriatric care, nutritional counseling, pain management, and exotic animal medicine. The hospital supports a diverse caseload, including care for dogs, cats, pigs, and chickens, and emphasizes strong client communication and individualized patient care. Practice Details

The hospital is newly renovated and equipped with eight exam rooms, a surgical suite with a CO₂ surgical laser, digital radiography, ultrasound, EKG, an in‑house lab and pharmacy, and a dedicated dental suite with dental radiography. Services include wellness care, diagnostics, chemotherapy, dentistry, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, and care for exotic species. The practice blends modern technology with compassionate care in a collaborative environment. Team

The team consists of six DVMs and a knowledgeable support staff who value mentorship, continuing education, and teamwork. Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA) Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so Package
