Overview The National Account Manager is responsible for gaining and maximizing sales with HQ-level Retail Foodservice (Supermarket Deli and Convenience) Chains and Commissary/CPU operators in the US. You will operate in a fast-growing, competitive Foodservice segment, pairing strategic account development with strong negotiation skills and business acumen to WIN.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow existing Unilever Food Solutions Retail Foodservice business in the South region. Develop plans for top and bottom line growth, annual profit improvement actions, and customer-specific activities to grow and maintain existing business. Leverage internal and external Unilever resources to develop and close new opportunities, working with Retail operational teams and their preferred commissary partners.

Identify and target new commissary partners to expand the Unilever Food Solutions footprint; aggressively pursue new business opportunities.

Manage trade spend by customer and shape the customer portfolio in line with Unilever Food Solutions profit objectives.

Co-design and support customer marketing and promotional plans. Collaborate with internal Unilever partners and customer teams.

Support operators on their digital transformations and eCommerce platforms.

Required Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum of 5-10 years progressive sales or marketing experience, including large strategic account management; experience in Retail and Foodservice preferred.

Experience in large, complex account management, multi-stakeholder models, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver business goals.

Proficiency in identifying market trends and implications to top line and gross margin targets; ability to work with finance partners to develop sustainable, profitable business for each customer.

Ability to link industry trends to customer needs and Unilever Food Solutions strategy, developing customer strategies over 1-3 years.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Salesforce experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Exceptional organizational, communication, financial and time management skills.

Must be a team player.

Travel up to 40% of the time.

Pay and Benefits Pay:

The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever considers a wide range of factors in compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business needs.

Bonus:

This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI):

This position is LTI eligible.
