Job Summary and Responsibilities As a CT Technologist, you will assist radiologists with various procedures.
Administer oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for allergic reactions; place correct IV for exams.
Load and operate MedRad power injector.
Operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.
Assist interventional radiologists with procedures.
Maintain a clean work environment and stock department supplies and linens.
Move, lift, and assist patients onto and off the scanner table.
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Registered Computed Tomography Technologist.
State Registered Radiologic Technician.
Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
One year of experience (minimum).
