Job Summary As a CT Technologist, you will assist radiologists with procedures, administer contrast, operate scanners, maintain a clean environment, and support patients.

Responsibilities

Administer oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam.

Load and operate MedRad power injector.

Operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.

Assist interventional radiologists with procedures.

Maintain a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens.

Move, lift, and assist patients onto and off the scanner table.

Qualifications

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Registered Computerized Tomography Technician.

State Registered Radiologic Technician.

Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
