Accounting Consultant
Compensation:
$60.00/hr - $80.00/hr
Overview We are seeking a hands‑on Accounting Consultant to support our client with cleanup operations. This individual will ensure accurate financial reporting and support process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Support all accounting operations, including general ledger, month‑end close, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
Handle preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Support in external audits, tax compliance, and regulatory filings.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on system integrations and data‑related projects.
Assist with variance analysis, KPIs, and reporting on company performance metrics.
Assist in any ad‑hoc projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
Multiple years of relevant accounting experience, including public accounting and industry experience.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month‑end close processes.
Experience managing teams and leading process improvements in a fast‑paced environment.
ERP system experience, with successful support through implementation or system upgrade preferred.
Track record of working with high‑performing accounting teams.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to partner cross‑functionally.
