Accounting Consultant

Compensation: $60.00/hr - $80.00/hr

Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on Accounting Consultant to support our client with cleanup operations. This individual will ensure accurate financial reporting and support process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all accounting operations, including general ledger, month‑end close, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
• Handle preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Support in external audits, tax compliance, and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on system integrations and data‑related projects.
• Assist with variance analysis, KPIs, and reporting on company performance metrics.
• Assist in any ad‑hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
• Multiple years of relevant accounting experience, including public accounting and industry experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month‑end close processes.
• Experience managing teams and leading process improvements in a fast‑paced environment.
• ERP system experience, with successful support through implementation or system upgrade preferred.
• Track record of working with high‑performing accounting teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to partner cross‑functionally.
