We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive
Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)
to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and compliance of our supplier base through rigorous assessments, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supplier quality management, hands‑on experience with
Oracle ERP systems , and the flexibility to travel extensively to supplier sites.
Key Responsibilities
Lead supplier quality audits, assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze supplier performance data and trends to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to support supplier selection, qualification, and development.
Utilize
ERP systems
to manage supplier quality data, track non-conformances, and monitor corrective/preventive actions.
Develop and maintain supplier scorecards and quality metrics.
Support new product introductions by ensuring supplier readiness and capability.
Travel to domestic and international supplier locations up to 75% of the time.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience
in supplier quality engineering or a related quality assurance role.
Proficiency with Oracle ERP systems is required.
Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949), and auditing practices.
Experience with root cause analysis, corrective action processes, and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, including international travel.
