Your day-to-day
Design, build, and deploy AI-powered software solutions to support Greenlight’s AI initiatives across user-facing products, fraud detection, customer service automation, marketing automation, and more
Develop tools and infrastructure to support advanced AI workflows including agentic architectures as well as future work in distillation and fine-tuning
Partner with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to bring new AI features to life quickly and iteratively
Implement and optimize prompt engineering strategies, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector stores, and chain-of-thought reasoning capabilities.
Ensure robust integration of AI systems into our core architecture, with high performance and scalability
Contribute to our AI infrastructure and pipelines
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of your work—from ideation to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Push the boundaries of what’s possible with state-of-the-art AI technologies, working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team
What you’ll bring to the team
Proven experience building and deploying AI Agents and applications in production.
Solid understanding of LLMs, Generative AI concepts, and agentic architectures (e.g., multi-agent systems, tool usage, and fine-tuning).
Hands-on experience with advanced prompt engineering and a modern AI framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
Solid software engineering experience building microservices or APIs (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, ), with fluency in Python or JavaScript.
Experience with AI Agent deployment and monitoring, including methods for testing and monitoring non-deterministic agents.
Familiarity with at least one major ML platform (e.g., Databricks, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI).
A track record of shipping high-impact products or research in fast-moving environments.
Curiosity and excitement for working at the cutting edge of AI—paired with the pragmatism to apply it where it makes the most impact.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with a JVM language (Java, Kotlin, Scala, etc.).
Experience with CI / CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus) for both traditional software and AI applications.
Direct experience with fine-tuning LLMs for specific tasks.
