About the Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established commercial general contractor specializing in retail, restaurant, and light commercial projects across Texas. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong communication and scheduling skills who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality standards to ensure successful delivery
Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams
Lead weekly project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients
Review and process RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Ensure site safety compliance and enforce company safety policies
Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial GC
Experience in retail or restaurant construction preferred
Strong understanding of construction drawings, contracts, and project financials
Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
