Job Summary

The Shipping Coordinator/Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing daily logistics and production operations, ensuring the efficient movement of materials, coordination of production schedules, and supervision of shift employees. This role plays a key part in maintaining workflow efficiency, meeting production targets, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

This position is for 2nd shift - Monday - Friday 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM. The right person for this role will be bilingual – speaking English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Warehouse Management

Oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes.

Ensure timely and accurate movement of raw materials and finished goods.

Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to optimize logistics flow.

Monitor warehouse operations, including material storage and order fulfillment.

Ensure all shipments comply with company and regulatory standards.

Production Leadership

Lead and coordinate production schedules to meet operational targets.

Ensure production line efficiency and troubleshoot workflow issues.

Monitor and enforce safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Team Leadership

Lead and support shift employees to ensure optimal performance.

Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on production needs.

Foster a positive and safe work environment through strong leadership and communication.

Conduct shift handovers, ensuring seamless information transfer between teams.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in logistics, production, or warehouse operations, with leadership responsibilities.

Skills:

Must be bilingual – Spanish speaking.

Strong understanding of logistics, production, and inventory management.

Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems.

Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
