We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst Co-op to join our team onsite within the Power & Controls operations site at Collins Aerospace. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing producibility activities, and contributing to the creation of innovative digital tools that drive operational excellence. Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement projects aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency. Assist in the analysis and implementation of producibility activities, focusing on improving product design and manufacturing processes. Develop and implement digital tools that enhance data visibility, reporting, and decision-making capabilities. Collect and analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement within operations. Support the documentation of processes, workflows, and best practices for knowledge-sharing and standardization. Participate in team meetings and provide actionable insights to support strategic objectives. Engage with team members to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. What You Will Learn

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Qualifications We Prefer

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams. Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work onsite full-time for the duration of the co-op term. This position may be eligible for relocation. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Salary range: 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, and other benefits.
