Senior SOC Performance Architect – Intel Corporation
Intel is seeking a highly skilled Senior SOC Performance Architect to join the Datacenter Power and Performance Architecture group. This role focuses on delivering leadership performance, performance efficiency, and security for datacenter and edge computing platforms, driving innovation across the XEON CPU and AI portfolio.
Responsibilities
Work in a dynamic team environment with design, validation, and architecture teams to deliver best‑in‑class performance and innovations across the XEON CPU and AI portfolio.
Determine, specify, and evaluate the viability of complex hardware features and structures; ensure that software and hardware designs interface correctly.
Define, document, and test processes for inclusion into technical platforms, subsystem specifications, and inputs/outputs and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
Identify, analyze, and resolve subsystem and/or SoC design weaknesses; influence the shaping of future products by contributing significantly to architecture across design families.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 6+ years of experience –or– Master’s Degree with 4+ years –or– PhD with 2+ years.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in computer architecture.
3+ years of experience in C, C++, or Python.
3+ years of experience in Verilog, System/Verilog.
5+ years of experience in CPU architecture, performance and power architecture, modeling, pre‑ and post‑silicon analysis.
