Role Overview
The
Senior Client Partner – BFS
will be responsible for
owning and growing strategic client relationships
within the Banking & Financial Services vertical in Charlotte, NC. The role combines strategic account management, consultative sales, and P&L ownership to deliver high-impact technology solutions and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Client Ownership & Growth:
Serve as the
strategic partner and trusted advisor
to CxOs and senior executives within key BFS accounts.
Drive
revenue growth ,
account expansion , and
client satisfaction
across assigned accounts.
Lead large-scale transformation programs spanning digital, cloud, data, and core banking modernization.
Business Development:
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within existing and new BFS logos.
Partner with pre-sales, delivery, and domain teams to craft winning proposals and solutions.
Drive pursuits exceeding
$10M+ annual TCV
through consultative and solution-based selling.
Account P&L Management:
Manage overall
account P&L, forecasting, and profitability .
Ensure delivery excellence, governance, and long-term value realization.
Stakeholder Management:
Build strong internal alignment with delivery, domain, and capability teams.
Represent the account in quarterly business reviews and executive steering committees.
Market & Domain Leadership:
Stay ahead of BFS industry trends—core banking modernization, open banking, fintech collaboration, cloud-native platforms, AI/ML use cases, and regulatory shifts.
Bring thought leadership to clients through industry insights, innovation sessions, and transformation roadmaps.
Ideal Candidate Profile
15–20 years in IT services or consulting, with at least
8+ years managing large BFS clients .
Proven record of
growing accounts >$25M annual revenue
and managing executive-level relationships.
Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of
Banking, Capital Markets, Payments, or Wealth Management
ecosystems.
Exposure to
digital transformation, cloud migration, data analytics, cybersecurity, or core modernization
in BFS.
Skills & Attributes
Strong business acumen and executive presence.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to execution.
Ability to navigate global, matrixed organizations and influence cross‑functional teams.
Education:
MBA or equivalent preferred; Engineering or Business degree required.
