Overview
We are seeking an
IT Sourcing Consultant
to support the financial, contractual, and administrative operations for technology services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed work with budgets, contracts, and technology purchasing processes. You will act as the link between the Technology team and departments such as Procurement, Finance, and Legal—ensuring all technology‑related purchases, renewals, and projects are tracked, documented, and executed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Budget Tracking & Forecasting
Maintain and update the department’s annual technology budget, including projects, software, staffing, and services.
Perform monthly expense tracking and forecasting to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.
Identify and communicate variances or upcoming renewals to leadership proactively.
Contract Administration
Manage and organize over 100 active technology contracts, including software renewals, licensing agreements, and service contracts.
Coordinate contract requests, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with Procurement and Legal.
Maintain detailed documentation to ensure compliance and timely execution of agreements.
Draft and assist with RFPs, RFQs, and Statements of Work (SOWs) for new technology initiatives.
Review software purchase requests and validate business needs before initiating procurement.
Track the lifecycle of technology purchases—from solicitation through implementation and renewal.
Departmental & Administrative Support
Support internal staffing processes (job descriptions, scheduling, interview coordination).
Create and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations for leadership.
Help organize department processes using tools like Excel, OneNote, and Oracle Fusion.
Provide occasional assistance to team members with documentation and Excel‑related issues.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in budget tracking, procurement, or contract administration.
Strong proficiency with Excel for tracking budgets and forecasting.
Experience working cross‑functionally with Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through—must be able to stay ahead of multiple concurrent deadlines.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
Experience using Oracle Fusion, ServiceNow, or Microsoft 365.
Understanding of IT software licensing, renewals, and vendor management.
Experience drafting or assisting with RFPs/RFQs/SOWs for technology purchases.
Exposure to budget planning and forecasting in a dynamic, project‑based environment.
