Business Enablement Leader - Rentals Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

We are seeking a motivated, self‑starting business enablement leader to lead and drive business process efficiencies within Carrier Rentals. The selected candidate will support business enhancement and improvements that create efficiencies and optimize current and future financial and operations tools and systems. The candidate will also act as a liaison between other departments and lead specific efforts in upgrades as required to ensure quick ramp‑up time and minimize business disruptions. This role will involve providing standardized modeling and analytics of monthly branch metrics and working with management to execute process improvement initiatives to improve on those metrics.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of new Enterprise Relationship Platform (ERP) for Rentals and Spot Coolers lines of business.

Create and implement strategically designed and formulated workflows and processes to enhance business operations for optimal use of resources and monthly business rhythms.

Creates standard work documentation to ensure standards are met and team members are properly equipped.

Formulate, plan and team develop training material, and other activities to achieve world‑class process flow.

Consult with and strategically advise key business stakeholders to ensure both internal and external customers’ needs are met.

Support acquisition efforts as required to drive compliance of current standards and processes.

Participate in special projects with other business partners to provide enhancements and upgrades to existing applications to improve business operation effectiveness.

Drive measurable improvements that support metrics for reporting to financial plans and other key KPIs (e.g., revenue, EBIT, utilization, debt-to-bound, under/over billings, cash flow, etc.).

Develop value stream maps for the organization that will eliminate process waste through implementation of lean techniques.

Lead special project for system upgrades that involve direct impact related to ERP, HR and Digital enhancements for the betterment of business operation onboarding, reporting and business processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

5+ years’ experience in Operations Management.

2+ years’ experience in process improvement.

Ability to travel up to 40% domestically.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree.

Track record and demonstrated skill communicating through influence both up and across complex, global organizations.

Excellent analytical skills, including in-depth understanding of valuation methodologies.

Knowledge of and/or experience in HVAC industry and/or adjacent industries.

Managing a remote team.

Oversight of functional teams/matrix organization.

Proven success leading the identification and execution of business development initiatives, including acquisitions, divestitures and partnerships.

Leading business or functional teams and strong communications skills.

3+ years people management experience.

2+ years of managing a P&L portfolio.
