Position HCM Systems Analyst (I, II, Senior, or Lead)
Responsibilities
Provide system support, upgrade, optimization, and subject‑matter expertise for all HR technologies and databases.
Deliver reporting and analytics services to ensure accurate and timely access to HR data for HR team, leadership, and business stakeholders.
Play a critical role in reimagining the use of the HR information system (HRIS) at UNS, assessing technology options, and designing and deploying new HR technology.
Consult with HR business partners, COEs, IT, finance, corporate compliance, payroll, and vendors to understand needs, propose solutions, and facilitate implementation.
Maintain HR data governance controls and standards for access and reporting, and drive continuous improvement of data quality.
Partner with IT and other HR stakeholders to troubleshoot, test, upgrade, and optimize HR systems and related processes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in a Human Resources, Finance, or Performance Analyst position; utility experience preferred.
Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Taleo, and ELM; experience with payroll, expense, and security modules highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience with application testing and system troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to conduct productive meetings.
Strong analytical and project‑management capabilities, including prioritizing and meeting deadlines with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Personnel Management, HR, Industrial/Labor Relations, or Business Administration.
3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources, Finance, or Performance Analyst role with utility experience.
Experience designing, supporting, and administering a SaaS HR platform covering multiple HR‑supported modules.
Advanced degree (master’s) optional but recommended.
