Conduct audits of hospital/clinic coded charts on a predefined basis for pre-bill and/or post-bill encounters Develop reports and educational materials based on quality audit findings and evaluate performance of clinicians and coders Identify and escalate risks related to service line audits based on audit activity Provide education to coders and collaborate with various departments for clinical support on education topics Review coding disparities between health plans and the provider community, providing recommendations as needed What is Required (Qualifications)
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in health administration or an equivalent healthcare field AHIMA Membership or relevant coding certification (CIC, COC, CPC) upon hire 4-6 years of experience in multi-specialty coding, coding auditing, or related quality assurance work with ICD-10 and CTP code sets Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality Commitment to the employer's mission, vision, core values, and social principles How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
