Civil Litigation Attorney
to join our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents, and advise clients on legal transactions. Responsibilities: Handle all phases of medical malpractice defense litigation, including case assessment, legal research, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation. Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations. Develop case strategies and provide legal counsel to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. Prepare and argue motions and other court filings. Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution. Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations. Collaborate with colleagues, paralegals, and support staff to ensure high-quality case handling. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical malpractice laws, regulations, and case precedents. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Arizona. 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with a focus on medical malpractice defense. Strong knowledge of medical malpractice laws, civil procedure, and trial practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
