Location: Omaha, NE. Key Responsibilities
Represent business and individual clients in state and federal court, as well as arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings. Develop and execute strategic litigation plans aligned with client objectives. Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with precision and persuasion. Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, and prepare witnesses. Advocate in mediations and trials, serving as a confident and persuasive courtroom presence. Contribute to firm growth through client development and thought leadership. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative legal culture. Key Skills / Experience
Strong litigation experience (3–5 years), including handling pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation. Jury trial and/or expert deposition experience is highly valued. Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills. Proficiency in managing multiple complex matters with attention to detail and deadlines. A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead and mentor. Familiarity with litigation tools and Microsoft Office suite. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar and in good standing in Nebraska (Iowa preferred or willingness to obtain). Experience in areas such as medical malpractice, employment law, commercial litigation, or civil litigation. Demonstrated professionalism, strong academic credentials, and client-first approach.
