What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist attorneys in employment law matters, including workplace disputes, wrongful termination, and compliance matters
Support personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries
Conduct legal research on employment and personal injury laws, statutes, and case precedents
Draft and prepare legal documents such as demand letters and settlement agreements
Organize and manage case files, deadlines, and attorney calendars to ensure timely filings
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification from an accredited program
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in employment law and personal injury in Texas
Proficiency in both English and Spanish
Strong knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws, including FMLA and ADA
Excellent legal writing, organizational, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with personal injury case processes, including demand drafting and settlement negotiations
Proficiency in legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw) and case management software
Experience with e-discovery, document review, and trial preparation
