Worship Minister – Full Time: Vision Church
Job Description:
Vision Church is looking for a full time Worship Minister to join our leadership team. In this position, the selected candidate will provide leadership and oversight to several ministries with an emphasis on Worship and Prayer ministries. Part time will be considered. This staff member will report to the Senior Pastor. Position Qualifications:
Responsibilities: Develop a vision and structure for Vision Church’s worship service and prayer ministries that help the congregation grow in intimacy with and dependence on Christ Train leaders across multiple ministries for greater effectiveness Provide spiritual care to members. Work with Senior Pastor and elders to provide spiritual oversight and direction for the church Collaborate with Senior Pastor in other ministries that fit gifting, calling and interest Attend monthly church leadership meetings Provide guidance and/or planning support for the church’s leadership retreat and annual retreat Qualifications and characteristics: A leader with a strong walk and relationship with Jesus Solid relational and discipleship skills and spiritual giftings in leadership, pastoring, training, teaching, administration, and exhortation A heart for New York City and deep understanding of the City’s unique dynamics and challenges Experience leading and coordinating worship services and prayer gatherings required Asian-American ministry experience required Preferred:
Proficiency in building and leading at least one of the following ministry categories: praise ministry, worship ministry, prayer ministry Urban church background
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master of Divinity Degree or equivalent preferred Application Deadline

Approximately a hundred individuals gather for worship each Sunday and a large number of these congregants are involved in small groups (called growth groups). Our congregation is comprised of young and middle-aged professionals, couples, and young children.
