VDC/BIM Coordinator
Allied Resources is looking for a VDC/BIM Coordinator for a leading construction firm. Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr
Job Responsibilities
Create, review, and manage 2D and 3D electrical drawings for field installation and coordination with other subcontractor trades.
Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes and maintain compliance with budget, constructability, and code requirements.
Develop detailed shop drawings, cross-sections, and layout plans for conduit, cable, and electrical systems to support fabrication and installation.
Prepare and track Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify design intent and ensure accurate project documentation.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to resolve design issues and communicate adjustments.
Interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings for field coordination.
Travel to project sites as needed to support coordination and execution efforts.
Maintain adherence to all company safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or trade education preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a BIM/VDC Assistant Coordinator, or 5 years in a related technical or design role.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM 360 Glue, or BIM Collaborate.
Strong understanding of construction blueprints, specifications, and 3D coordination across multiple trades.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook with solid general computer skills.
