QPS Employment Group is seeking a detail‑oriented and people‑focused HR Coordinator to support a leading manufacturing organization in Spring Grove, IL. This role plays a key part in supporting the HR team with daily operations including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and passionate about creating a positive workplace experience.
HR Coordinator Responsibilities
Support daily HR operations and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries.
Assist with recruiting activities including job postings, interview coordination, and new hire documentation.
Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS systems.
Assist with benefits enrollment, employee status changes, and leave administration.
Support payroll processing activities and maintain related documentation.
Help ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives such as engagement programs, recognition events, and training coordination.
Prepare reports and track HR metrics as needed.
Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and leadership team.
HR Coordinator Requirements
2+ years of experience in Human Resources or administrative support, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using HRIS or payroll systems.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
A positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to support team goals.
