Position Title: HR Coordinator
Wage: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm
QPS Employment Group is seeking a detail‑oriented and people‑focused HR Coordinator to support a leading manufacturing organization in Spring Grove, IL. This role plays a key part in supporting the HR team with daily operations including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and passionate about creating a positive workplace experience.
HR Coordinator Responsibilities
- Support daily HR operations and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Assist with recruiting activities including job postings, interview coordination, and new hire documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS systems.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, employee status changes, and leave administration.
- Support payroll processing activities and maintain related documentation.
- Help ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives such as engagement programs, recognition events, and training coordination.
- Prepare reports and track HR metrics as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and leadership team.
HR Coordinator Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or administrative support, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using HRIS or payroll systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- A positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to support team goals.
