Position Title: HR Coordinator
Wage: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

QPS Employment Group is seeking a detail‑oriented and people‑focused HR Coordinator to support a leading manufacturing organization in Spring Grove, IL. This role plays a key part in supporting the HR team with daily operations including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and passionate about creating a positive workplace experience.

HR Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Support daily HR operations and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries.
  • Assist with recruiting activities including job postings, interview coordination, and new hire documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS systems.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, employee status changes, and leave administration.
  • Support payroll processing activities and maintain related documentation.
  • Help ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives such as engagement programs, recognition events, and training coordination.
  • Prepare reports and track HR metrics as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and leadership team.

HR Coordinator Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or administrative support, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using HRIS or payroll systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to support team goals.
