Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with procedures such as EGDs, colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, and more.

Collect and prepare specimens for pathology, microbiology, and cytology.

Clean, disinfect, and maintain scopes and instruments according to manufacturer guidelines.

Document procedures and specimens accurately in the electronic system.

Anticipate equipment and supply needs; maintain well-stocked procedure rooms.

Provide compassionate support to patients and families before, during, and after procedures.

Assist RNs/LPNs with patient care and recovery under supervision.

Adhere to AAAHC, OSHA, and infection control standards.

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the center.

Requirements :

High School Diploma

Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).

Knowledge of medical instrumentation, disinfection processes, and infection control.

Prior experience as a GI Tech, Endoscopy Tech, Surgical Tech, or Sterile Processing Tech preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in moving patients up to 350 pounds.

Strong critical thinking, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
