Azure Support Engineer

Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Azure Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, administering, troubleshooting, repairing, and escalating customer issues across a wide range of technologies — with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ensuring system security and operational excellence.
This is a full time position reporting to our Downers Grove, IL headquarters with the ability to work remote.
Qualifications
Must have 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
Certifications highly preferred: AZ-104 — Administrator, AZ-305 — Solutions Architect Expert
Provide advanced support for Azure environments, including troubleshooting and resolving issues across computer, networking, identity, and storage services.
Administer and manage Azure resources such as Virtual Machines (VMs), VNETs, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Key Vault, and Azure AD / Entra ID.
Implement and manage security and compliance solutions using Azure Policy, RBAC, Blueprints, and Defender for Cloud.
Assist with Azure site recovery (ASR), ARM templates/Bicep deployments, and automation using PowerShell (Az Module) or Azure CLI.
Experience working with and supporting at least three of the following security technologies:
Group Policy w/ Cloud Integration
Federation / SSO / Conditional Access
Hybrid Join / AADDS
Defender for Cloud
Microsoft Sentinel
Conditional Access
Zero Trust
MFA / RBAC
Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
ExpressRoute
Azure VPN Gateway
IPsec/S2S VPN
Private Endpoints
DNS Private Resolver
Strong understanding of DNS technologies and related security practices.
Experience with DataBricks and Certificate Authority management is a plus.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V preferred.
The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
