Responsibilities:
Perform visual and dimensional sorting and inspection of aluminum knuckles and control arms.
Focus on identifying surface and machining defects, deep ejector pin marks, and imperfections under black light.
Must ensure accurate segregation of defective and acceptable parts per client standards.
Technical & Industry Experience:
1–3 years minimum experience in quality inspection or visual sorting (automotive or metal manufacturing preferred).
Proficiency in visual and dimensional inspection of machined aluminum and metal parts
Skilled in identifying defects such as ejector pin marks, cracks, burrs, porosity, and surface irregularities
Familiarity with black light (UV) inspection tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Experience in Automotive / Metal Mechanic Manufacturing
Job Type: 1099 Contractor
Project Duration: Ongoing weekly sorting project (CURRENT PROJECT)
Note: This is a 1099 contract role – project duration may vary based on client needs
Shift Hours:
Inspectors may be scheduled 2–4 days per week; Shifts will be either 8 hours or 12 hours per day; Weekly hours may range from 16 to 48 hours per inspector, depending on production needs and rotation schedules. (CURRENT PROJECT)
Note: As a 1099 contractor, project schedules may vary depending on site availability
Location:
Must be able to travel to Benton Harbor, MI 49022, USA and nearby areas (exact CLIENT address can ONLY be shared once contractor joins)
