Internships at Cvent
Cvent's paid internship gives students hands-on experience and direct mentorship that supports their professional development and career growth after college graduation. Interns are exposed to the inner workings of an industry-leading software company while taking ownership of projects that contribute to the company's continued success. Interns may receive an offer for full-time employment after graduation.
Technology Operations (Tech Ops)
drives process improvement and manages communication across all our global offices. As part of the team, the Technology Operations Intern will assist with initiatives that ensure the Technology organization operates smoothly, consistently, and efficiently across processes, tools, and teams.
In This Role, You Will:
Support operational excellence
by documenting and improving standard operating procedures, process maps, and team workflows to drive clarity and consistency. Collaborate within the Technology Operations team
to help boost best practices across the department. Analyze operational data and KPIs
to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement; summarize insights in clear, executive-ready updates. Assist with governance and audit readiness
by maintaining accurate records, logs, and artifacts that demonstrate process compliance and operational rigor. Support project execution
for initiatives such as process automation, tooling standardization, and system enhancements, including task coordination and status tracking. Here's What You Need:
Full-time college student with plans to graduate in May 2027 (summer between Junior & Senior year) Currently
pursuing a Bachelor's degree
in Business, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Communications, or a related field. Strong interest in technology operations, systems management, and IT support. Full-time college student with plans to graduate in May 2027 (summer between Junior & Senior year) Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks Ability to commute to our headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA Self-motivated, analytical, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment Nice to Have:
Experience with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar) and a willingness to learn internal systems quickly. Exposure to process improvement frameworks or coursework in operations, project management, or business analytics.
