Description Job Title: Executive Assistant (Permanent Position!) Location: Hartford, CT (Fully Onsite) Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 (commensurate with experience) Our client is a mission-driven non-profit organization based in Hartford, CT, committed to making a meaningful impact in our community. We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Executive Assistant to support an Executive level Manager. This is a fully onsite role offering the opportunity to work closely with passionate individuals in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment. Position Summary: The Executive Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the Executive Manager and overall organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executive support, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex calendar and scheduling needs for the Executive Manager
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including Board of Directors meetings
- Arrange occasional travel, including itineraries and logistics
- Maintain and organize internal data, records, and documents
- Assist with program management and implementation
- Prepare agendas, presentations, and reports for leadership and board meetings
- Serve as a liaison with internal staff, board members, and external partners
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Minimum 5 years of Executive Assistant experience, preferably in a non-profit or mission-driven setting (industry is not a must, just a plus!)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated excellence in calendar management and scheduling
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 5 years of Executive Assistant experience, preferably in a non-profit or mission-driven setting (industry is not a must, just a plus!)
