Insight Global's client is seeking a Customer Service Agent in Columbus, IN for a direct hire opportunity. Our client is an independent family owned insurance agency offering a wide range of insurance products. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a passion for serving others. You’ll work closely with clients to provide tailored personal insurance solutions and maintain long-term relationships. The Service Agent will work fulltime onsite Monday – Friday and support 3 producers.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and service a book of personal insurance clients.
• Provide expert advice on home, auto, and umbrella insurance products and coverage options.
• Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, and carriers.
• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 1+ years experience in administrative or office support
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Must be willing to obtain Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License
