Responsibilities Receptionist-PRN Opportunity West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over three decades. Our 176-bed acute care facility is fully accredited and included a 16-bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency. We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents and adults. Treatment is offered at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer your questions about treatment options and insurance coverage. Visit us online at: West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Receptionist to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The receptionist will demonstrate exemplary service excellence and serves as a primary point of contact with Hospital patients, visitors and employees. The receptionist will be responsible for answering the Hospital switchboard in a professional and timely manner; greets and assists visitors; distributes mail to departments; and assists with various clerical duties and projects. Work Schedule: Tues, Thurs 4-8pm Every other Friday 4-8pm Every other Saturday 2:30pm-10:30pm Every other Sunday 3-10:30p or 4:30p-7:30p (depending on rotation) Flexibility to cover some additional shifts for vacation requests, personal time off, etc. Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls in timely and professional manner by the third ring using standardized greeting
- Utilize paging system to page staff and make announcements
- Provide access to patients, visitors and employees upon entry to Hospital. Greet and assist customers. Ensure proper identification is presented and documentation is completed

- Education Required: High School Diploma or GED. Two years of college preferred.
- Licensure and certification Required: CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.
- Experience Required: Prior experience as receptionist desirable. Computer knowledge and healthcare experience a plus.
