- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape departmental strategy and future direction.
- Manage staffing needs, performance evaluations, and employee development.
- Build strong relationships across departments to support business objectives.
- Supervise daily accounting workflows including reconciliations, general ledger management, and reporting.
- Monitor productivity and service levels, using data to guide decisions and improvements.
- Resolve escalated issues and identify trends for proactive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Support multiple product lines with varying systems and complexity.
- Maintain and update departmental policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain reporting tools to support leadership visibility and strategic planning.
- Oversee budget-related activities such as payroll and overtime tracking.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a finance or accounting setting.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex workflows.
