- ️ Oversee all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- ️ Lead the month-end close cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- ️ Guide and develop the financial team to ensure best practices and continuous improvement
- ️ Utilize accounting tools like BlackLine, Concur, and ADP to streamline financial operations
- ️ Manage the company's ERP system to ensure smooth workflow
- ️ Leverage Excel for managing and analyzing financial data
- ️ Ensure accurate and timely billing functions, including invoicing and payments
- ️ Oversee revenue recognition, particularly using the percentage of completion method in construction
- ️ Audit financial data regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance
- ️ Strong experience in the construction industry
- ️ Proficient in revenue recognition and month-end close
- ️ Familiar with BlackLine, Concur, ADP, and ERP systems
- ️ Advanced skills in Excel for financial data management
- ️ Leadership ability to manage and develop the financial team
- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems, with a strong preference for candidates experienced with ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, and Concur
- Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is highly desirable
- Deep understanding of all accounting functions, including but not limited to, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), auditing, and billing functions
- Proven ability to manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting department
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with an ability to direct and supervise a team
- Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to interact professionally with all levels of staff
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or advanced degree is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis
