Accounting Manager Job at Century Group in Hollywood

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Valencia, CA. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $110,000 to $120,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Oversee and manage and oversee accounting functions
• Assist with year-end audit activities
• Assess current practices and procedures, make recommendations, and implement best practices
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Develop staff by cross-training, managing performance, goal setting, providing timely and ongoing feedback, and building strong team relationships
• Work with external auditors to ensure accuracy and year-end reporting

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization
• Excellent Microsoft Office and financial systems skills
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience
