Description Robert Half Permanent Placement is partnering with a leading property management company in Williamsville, NY on their search for an Accounting Clerk to join their growing team. In this role you will manage tenant billing, payments, and vendor invoices while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of transactions. This is an in-office position with a starting salary of $50,000 - $60,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and an excellent opportunity for career growth. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Process tenant rent payments and adjustments; manage monthly close of tenant activity
- Maintain Accounts Receivable records, ensuring accurate posting and timely collections
- Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and Accounts Payable payments
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with monthly/quarterly SOX requirements
- Assist with fixed asset tracking, including creation of new assets and running depreciation reports
- Prepare financial reports, correspondence, and presentations as requested
- Support the development and implementation of finance policies and procedures
- Handle filing, documentation, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support finance operations
- Associate degree in accounting or related field equivalent experience required
- 5 + years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office; ability to work under deadlines with accuracy and confidentiality; professional communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Sage ERP experience is a huge plus!
