We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial records. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth within the construction industry. Maintain organized vendor files and ensure accounts payable records are up to date.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and support the Controller with additional accounting tasks.
- Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures throughout all processes.
Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes, including coding invoices and account coding.
