Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors during preconstruction
  • Conduct quantity takeoffs and develop scopes of work
  • Participate in bid reviews and value engineering efforts
  • Maintain and update historical cost data and unit pricing

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in preconstruction for commercial general contractors
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing
  • Proficient in estimating software such as Bluebeam , Sage Estimating , ProEst , or STACK
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines
