Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. • Oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage general ledger activities and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct financial statement audits and address discrepancies effectively.
• Reconcile accounts to guarantee accuracy and reliability of financial records.
• Prepare and review journal entries to maintain data integrity.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Support system optimization efforts, including platforms like Sage Intacct, NetSuite, and SAP.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen internal controls and compliance.
• Provide insights on cost management and cash flow strategies to drive business success. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting management or supervision.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Expertise in conducting audits and reconciling accounts.
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries with attention to detail.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or SAP.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
