Install cable trays, conduit, brackets, pipe hangers, and assembly mounts for HVAC units, pumps, etc. Measure, cut, and bend buss bar for projects. Level skids. Assemble structural framework and frame CAD wall assemblies on skids. Install roof panels and trusses. Assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. Follow quality processes to verify mechanical integrity of units. Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly. Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to meet specifications. Torque assemblies to specification. Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnose causes of mechanical malfunction; perform repairs as needed. Siding & Doors
Measure fit and install interior/exterior insulation and/or panels. Install various siding, windows, and metal panel products on modular buildings, skids, E-houses, and other portable structures. Mount and install door assemblies; install panic hardware and closures; install roofing material. Measure, cut, trim and bend product per specifications; cut and trim access holes and penetrations. Troubleshoot engineering and fabrication defects; waterproof surfaces; perform exterior trim work. Ensure installations comply with current regulations and customer specifications; manage assigned project completion, quality, and delivery according to schedule. Design, build, and erect shipping split walls; prepare buildings for shipping; clean and touch up. Tools and Equipment
Various hand tools (wrenches, screwdriver, utility knife, laser level, drill, impact, saw) Operate overhead crane, forklift, scissor lifts, hoists to assist in assembly and material movement May operate sand blaster Other Essential Duties
Maintain regular attendance and adhere to IE safety program and core values Qualifications
High School Diploma plus one year of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read basic wiring schematics and layout diagrams Experience with various hand tools Self-motivated; able to work in a team with minimal supervision Ability to work with technicians and management to keep production moving and meet due dates Proven quality orientation and attention to detail in mechanical assemblies Strong communication and collaboration skills Willing to travel up to 5% of the time Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and move up to 100 lbs Specific vision requirements: close, peripheral, color, depth perception; ability to adjust focus Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work at heights; frequent heavy lifting and bending on concrete floors Work Schedule
4-10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM. More hours as required. Disclaimer
