Assemble, fit, install, and test manufactured components and sub-assemblies to form completed systems. Support launch of alpha and beta products and provide feedback to Development Engineering. Develop and document procedures for new products. Flexibility to work within both Assembly and Refurbishment cells. Disassemble, evaluate, and prepare inspection reports of findings on incoming components. Assemble and install prefabricated parts and sub-assemblies into custom machine tool systems. Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Implement continuous improvement initiatives. Cross-train in other areas and share knowledge with team members. Monitor equipment functioning and report issues; maintain documentation per SOPs. Clean parts per established procedures; perform heat testing and inspection to ensure specifications are met. Conduct product and performance testing and document results. Install, repair, inspect, reassemble, replace, and adjust products as required. Assist in troubleshooting fit, form, and function issues and provide field support to customers when needed. Qualifications
High school diploma or high school equivalency required. Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with basic hand tools; crane and forklift experience helpful. Ability to use, replace, and maintain basic tooling; basic computer knowledge. Technical ability in hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical assemblies. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings. Strong problem-solving and customer-relations skills; attention to detail and results-driven approach. Experience using measuring and inspection equipment and tools. Willingness to work different shifts; minimal travel may be required. College diploma or apprenticeship certificate in related studies preferred. Approximately 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred. Benefits & Additional Information
