Engineer IV (WMBJP00002535) Houston, TX Support: Provide Tier IV Level support and aid for issues in your area or on the projects you’re working on. Responsibilities

Engineering & Design: Read, interpret, review, and redline P&IDs, Electrical and Instrumentation Schematics. Participate in design review of all projects. Led a automation (controls) focused PHA. Take complete ownership of Tagging, Symbols and References for all projects. Define key equipment design parameters – design/ operating pressure; design/ operating temperature. Hardware selection of key hardware components. Instrumentation – suitability for the selected parameters; ranges; alarm set points; trip set points. Control panel interfaces – signals to/from main control room and field instruments; hardwired signals; serial linked signals. Control loops between the instruments and equipment. Ensure project requirements, expectations, or operational points are within WIMS operating philosophies & standards. Author and ensure consistency between documents such as instrument index, control philosophy, programs, and C&E. Review of P&ID to check consistency with ESD philosophy. PLC Programming: Write logic for SCP and ESD PLC; write logic for all transmitters and devices; write logic for all compressors; write logic for SCADA packs; write logic for generators; write logic for Vent Fans; write logic for Gas Coolers; write logic for Gas Control; write logic for Power monitor; write logic for air compressors; write logic for ESD; write logic for Fire and Gas Detectors; setup all devices and input IP addresses; order and procure modules and devices for project; request IP address allocations from IT; Gas Control Data Test, Point to Point and final data review. HMI Automation: Create screens and alarms for SCP and ESD PLC; create screens and alarms for all transmitters and devices; create screens and alarms for all compressors; create screens and alarms for SCADA packs; create screens and alarms for generators; create screens and alarms for Vent Fans; create screens and alarms for Gas Coolers; create screens and alarms for Station Control; create screens and alarms for Daily Report; create screens and alarms for trending; create screens and alarms for ESD, Fire and Gas; order HMI machine for Wonderware; order Wonderware license. Fat Testing: Travel and conduct Factory acceptance tests of Control buildings, Control Panels, and Motor Control Centers. Documents: Maintain, test, verify, cause and effect, and IO list. Commissioning: Travel and commission the entire station controls and automation system; test and commission every device tied into the control system as mentioned in PLC Programming and HMI Automation; test and commission SCADA. Qualifications

Experience: 8-10 years of experience preferred; 5 years of experience minimum. Prior oil and gas experience required.
