Overview

Read, interpret, review, and redline P&IDs, Electrical and Instrumentation Schematics. Participate in design review of all projects. Lead automation (controls) focused PHA. Take complete ownership of tagging, symbols and references for all projects. Manage key equipment design parameters including design/operating pressure and design/operating temperature. Hardware selection of key components. Instrumentation suitability for selected parameters; determine ranges; set alarm, trip, and control points. Define control panel interfaces—signals to/from main control room and field instruments; hardwired signals; serial linked signals. Establish control loops between instruments and equipment. Ensure project requirements, expectations, or operational points align with WIMS operating philosophies & standards. Author and ensure consistency between documents such as instrument index, control philosophy, programs, and Cause & Effect (C&E). Review P&ID for consistency with ESD philosophy. PLC programming across multiple areas including SCP/ESD, transmitters, devices, compressors, SCADA packs, power monitoring, air compressors, ESD, and Fire & Gas detectors. Configure device inputs/IP addresses. Order and procure modules and devices. Coordinate IP address allocations with IT. Perform gas control data testing, point-to-point checks, and final data review. Create screens and alarms for HMI (SCP/ESD PLC, transmitters, devices, compressors, SCADA packs, generators, vent fans, gas coolers, station control) and implement daily reporting and trending. Manage HMI machine and Wonderware license requirements. Fat Testing and Commissioning Travel to factory sites to conduct factory acceptance tests of control buildings, control panels, and motor control centers. Maintain, test, verify cause-and-effect and IO lists. Travel to commission the entire station controls and automation system. Test and commission every device tied into the control system as described in PLC programming and HMI automation. Test and commission SCADA. Qualifications
