Handbag, SLG's, Ladies' Accessories Designer
We are seeking a Women's handbag/SLG designer. Working as the design lead, this position is responsible for the development of the Women's product lines for all seasons.
Major Responsibilities
Identify key market trends and create and develop full lines from concept to completion targeting key accounts and price points.
Regularly follow up with overseas factories regarding tech packs, style updates, and new developments.
Study markets, shop retail, and interact with consumers to establish trends.
Source and choose materials for samples.
Qualifications
5-7 years minimum in handbag design experience, must have experience in creating tech packs of handbags.
Focused on the technical aspects of bag design, such as functionality, construction, material specifications, and ensuring that the design can be effectively manufactured.
Proficient in the Adobe Suite (primarily Photoshop and Illustrator).
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000 - $150,000 per year Schedule: Monday to Friday Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10001 Commute: Must be able to commute to New York, NY 10001 Relocate: Requires relocation before starting work
