Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Engineer to evolve and maintain network infrastructure on a long‑term government contract supporting a widely known Federal agency. This newly awarded 5‑year contract offers great job security. The position is onsite in Albuquerque, New Mexico and requires a Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
Provides technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations. Designs, builds, and implements VTC network systems.
Support customer traditional enterprise VTC requirements on in-scope networks.
Support Video Conferencing Services that provide Customer End‑Users with video conference capabilities. Services include the planning and assessment, implementation, training, and ongoing management necessary to implement Video Conferencing Service.
Monitors and responds to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems. Interfaces with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
Monitors and responds to hardware, software, and network problems.
Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network performance.
Performs a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and / or equipment.
Troubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes improvements to the network.
Requirements
Active Top Secret Clearance.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience).
Required technical skills: Network Engineering, Video Teleconferencing Services, End‑User Support, Troubleshooting/Problem Solving.
Compensation
$72,000 – $88,000 depending on experience.
Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k), Holidays, Sick Leave (as required by law).
