Salary / Hourly Rate :
$70k – $80k + Bonus
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our client’s Finance team and support their national tenant portfolio. This role goes beyond collections; it is about understanding complex billing and payment structures, managing key relationships, and resolving reconciliation issues with precision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management and account reconciliations, with a proven ability to navigate and interpret the nuances of multifaceted payment arrangements. You will act as a critical liaison between tenants and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, clarity, and timeliness in receivables. Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Analyst
Manage AR for national tenants with complex lease or billing arrangements, ensuring accurate invoicing, payment tracking, and dispute resolution. Serve as a relationship owner for key accounts, building trust and ensuring client satisfaction with billing-related matters. Conduct in-depth account reconciliations, resolving payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, short payments, or chargebacks. Collaborate with internal departments (Leasing, Legal, Finance) to ensure contract terms and payment structures are understood and executed correctly. Investigate and analyze account histories to identify trends, recurring issues, or root causes of non-payment. Provide detailed reporting and aging analysis for national accounts, highlighting risks and opportunities. Assist in the development and enhancement of AR processes, particularly for complex or custom arrangements. Support month‑end close and audit processes as they relate to receivables and tenant billing. Use systems such as ERP software (Oracle, SAP, Yardi, or others) to manage and monitor AR data. Required Experience / Skills for the Accounts Receivable Analyst
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills: able to assess, question, and troubleshoot beyond the surface level. Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.). Experience working with national or large enterprise clients, preferably in a real estate, leasing, or subscription‑based business model. Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills: able to communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Experience / Skills for the Accounts Receivable Analyst
Familiarity with revenue recognition and billing compliance. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Education Requirements
Associate’s degree is preferred but not required. Benefits
