Quality Engineer – Electronics Manufacturing
We are partnering with a
top-tier electronics manufacturer in the aerospace sector
to bring on a
Quality Engineer . This is a great opportunity for someone with strong aerospace quality experience who wants to make a direct impact on product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
Lead root cause investigations (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Oversee internal audits aligned with AS9100 standards.
Track and report key quality metrics to leadership.
Partner with suppliers on quality audits, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
Develop and maintain QMS procedures, work instructions, and compliance documentation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across functional teams.
Provide training and occasional backup support for inspection/calibration activities.
What We’re Looking For
5–10 years in quality assurance, including 2+ years in aerospace or regulated industries.
Knowledge of FAA requirements and aerospace standards (AS9100).
Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and specifications.
ERP system experience (Epicor or similar) and strong MS Office skills.
Strong communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) and/or military/aerospace manufacturing experience a big plus.
