Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner Required Skills: Labor and Delivery, Use of External Fetal Monitoring (EFM), Internal Fetal Monitoring, IUPC placement and calibration, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of infusion pumps/drips/IV monitoring, Antihypertensives, Insulin drips, Magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Prostaglandins, Terbutaline, Amnioinfusion, Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with vaginal delivery, C‑section circulation, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Hemorrhage/shock management, Recover C‑Section, APGAR scores, Baby Nurse ("Baby Catcher"), Neonatal resuscitation, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Infant Identification, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia management, Thermoregulation, Epidural Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, IV conscious sedation, Nitrous Oxide, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Breastfeeding Support/Lactation support, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Wound Assessment and Care, Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Postpartum care for multiple births, Postpartum hemorrhage management, Pregnancy-induced hypertension Job Details
