Working Title: MEDICAL/HEALTH CARE PROG ANALYST - SES - 64055877
This position is a highly responsible supervisory role within the Patient Care Unit in the HIV/AIDS section. The incumbent directs and manages a team of staff to coordinate ADAP insurance benefits for clients, ensuring quality service and alignment with the state’s Integrated HIV Prevention and Care Plan.
Responsibilities
Supervise direct reports, including motivating, training, and providing guidance.
Develop performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
Manage vacation and work schedules, complete timesheets, and ensure training compliance for all staff.
Plan and lead the implementation of ADAP insurance programs, including data analysis, budget planning, grant proposals, and program reporting.
Oversee contract management for ADAP insurance, ensuring accurate invoicing, payment processing, and contract compliance.
Review insurance policies and prescription benefits to maintain program cost efficiency compared to traditional ADAP.
Handle premium tax credit allocation, pharmaceutical rebate tracking, and billing processes.
Develop and deliver training materials and communications to ADAP staff and clients.
Provide quarterly and ad‑hoc reporting to the Patient Care Director, HRSA, and department leadership.
Lead quality improvement initiatives, including survey feedback analysis and corrective action implementation.
Act as the first point of contact for client grievances regarding insurance services.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum six years’ experience managing insurance benefits and insurance coordination in a health‑care setting.
Preferred: BS in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
